Hi there to you readers. I keep getting told by people that they're enjoying the blog and can hear my voice when they read it - what a lovely compliment !

So as you can see, we've a lot of training to do and on some weeks we'll be walking 42 miles !
This is a charity event and the whole point of the blog is to try and involve people in our training and raise as much money as possible.

I've received some comments about a "badly written, crappy blog". I'm sorry that an effort by 5 women to raise money for breast cancer research could arouse such negative feeling. My only advice is, please don't read it. On a more positive note, lots of people are really enjoying reading it. If you'd like to come along on any of the training sessions, we'd be more than happy to have you.

We've been in the papers again this week. This time we're media darlings in the Clevedon Mercury. Here's the link: www.thisissomerset.co.uk/clevedon/news/Women-training-cancer-moonwalk/

As you'll see, Tom from the Club is now starting to put us through our paces to get us match ready for the big event, which is looming fast.

I'd like to leave you with these thoughts -

success is 10% luck, 90% sweat (trust me I know this through experience).
1 woman in 8 will experience some form of breast cancer in their lives, and
35 women a day are diagnosed with breast cancer, and sadly
1,000 women a month lose their life to breast cancer.
