So January 2009 and I am feeling virtuous. Gym membership, check. Trainers, check. Motivation... check...it is actually starting to kick in!
When I last wrote, I think I had been to the gym twice, once to use the sauna and the other time to use the bar. Now as we go to press I have been 3 times and I am booked in for a spin course on Wednesday with my new team mate and fellow bra wearing walker, Sarah Barnes.
My third visit to the gym involved my team and I meeting the press. Jason Eaton, General Manager at 'theclub' set up a few photo shoots for us and has put together a press release.
When I arrived at 'theclub' today I was given my gorgeous new training T-Shirt courtesy of 'theclub', you can see us all looking exceptionally glamorous in them in our pics, pink is sooo me darling!
As you can see from the writing across my boosoms ( well lets not be shy we are all reading about my bra) I am "being trained", so I am totally submissive in this.

The photographer was lovely. Somehow he managed to single me out as the ring leader and had me doing all sorts of Linda Lusardi poses (boys under 24, ask your father) and me being the expensively educated, thoroughly emancipated woman that I am pouted and preened my way through the 'shoot' like a pro.
Since my media debut on the BBC, we have managed to generate lots of publicity. And ...I can exclusively reveal that my colleauges and I may be appearing on a small screen in the corner of your room very soon. That has got to be worth some sponsorship, surely ?

In my last blog, I wrote that I was going to Thailand to see my dad and stepmum, Hi Dad, Hi Ana ! Well sadly due to a number of factors we did not make it. However, the blog is being read in Thailand, Sydney, California and Angola. So hello to everyone who is reading abroad and hopefully I will see your name on our sponsorship form soon or I shall have to endure the hardship of coming to see you and telling you off.
This month has seen me enjoy a couple two hour walks around the village. I know it has been very cold but I went off for a trek around with my son Dylan. Although it was freezing, I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place like Wrington. Walking to the top of Wrington Hill was like stepping into Narnia. The whole place looked like a beautiful winter wonderland. The area took on a mystical feel with the tiny icicles on the fronds of shrubs and trees, it really was exceptionally pretty. I am looking forward to walking through the Bluebells in spring during my training.
So yes, anyway. Gosh, I got carried away and had a whimsical and deep moment, Gary will be surprised! It's so unlike me.
I hope you are enjoying this blog and please sponsor us, or I will start naming names as those who are enjoying the assets without the liabilities ! Please go to www.justgiving.com/samanthahawkins4 and you can donate as little as £2. We all know someone affected by cancer and by helping support the scientists who research into the causes and cures, we are helping others be diagnosed earlier and live longer.
See you all in February !! Mwah. Mwah.
