After the (tea) interval, a round of applause coinciding with Ginnie's standing up, leads Maggie to conjecture that the two events are connected
Bob points out there's a fair amount of running between the wickets going on, and that's what people are clapping at
For Miriam, the big complaint following tea is that it had to be served a quarter of an hour before the arranged time.

Roger points out even he can't control a match to that extent.
Miriam turns on Bob to accuse him of being among those thoughtless people who have ruined her catering arrangements
Kevin's return from a spell of umpiring draws admiring glances from Maggie who assures him ...
... that anyone who looks so good in white "would make a lovely bride"
Thoughts of being a bride are as nothing for Kevin when compared to his "nervous anticipation" of his forthcoming innings
Dennis's lecherous thoughts towards Miriam are revived by her invitation to him to help her fold the tablecloth ...
... and Maggie wonders if she might "lend a hand ?"
Kevin's return from the crease is accompanied by blood-curdling tales of the opposition's behaviour. "I told 'em - I'm a member of the union!"
But as for boosting Dennis's morale - Kevin points out the demon bowler will still be fresh ...
... on the other hand, Kevin gives Dennis something else to take his mind off it - Maggie, as he puts it, is "sex mad" .....

"..... is she really ?" is the reply
And when Dennis tries to woo her with offers of cut-price carpets ..

Maggie assures him he's turning her on .... "spiritually, at least"
Ginnie goes to work on Miriam about Roger's philandering - in Dorking.
"You just ask the chaps", she advises
Maggie has no illusions about Kevin's expectation that she devote her entire life to him ...
Miriam has to pass on the bad news to Dennis that his wife has found the house of her dreams ....
... but Sharon has the more pressing problem of finding a toilet ...
Ginnie makes Miriam's day by telling her the loo door needs fixing - "chop, chop ..."
Maggie's attention is fully taken by what she sees as Kev's superb innings
