The strain of the day's proceedings is taking its toll of Roger who blissfully accepts Maggie's offer of massage
Maggie ofers no such soothing to Alex whom she berates for leaving Sharon alone and unhappy in his car.

"What", he says, "is she fiddling with my switches ?"
Dennis turns his attentions again to Maggie, suggesting he unburdens his soul to her sometime.

"That'll be something to look forward to", she says, not altogether convincingly
Sharon has moved from the car to the loo where, the door having jammed, she's reportedly having hysterics
Maggie runs to escort Kev from the playing field, shouting to the opposition, "why don't you pick on someone your own size ?"
Kev knows what he wants, and when Maggie produces it, he downs it with a will
Still somewhat the worse for his drink, Bob explains to Ginnie that his ex-wife has decided to re-marry, so won't be needing him round there any more ...
... and, as she tells Kev, this news makes her so happy, she doesn't know whether to laugh or cry
Miriam decides it's time to point out to Roger, and anyone else who'll listen, that she is, among other things, a qualified shorthand typist, and secretary of the Ivor Novello Appreciation Society
When Sharon escapes from the loo she makes the point, in a rather more physical manner, to Alex that she doesn't think much of his treatment of her ...
... which may be is what encourages Miriam to sort out once and for all what happened with Roger in Dorking - and this turns out to meet not wholly with her approval ...
... and when Dennis goes to find his car being set on fire by his beloved, he is further chagrined to see "she's laughing at me" ...
... and Miriam seems not too keen on Roger's stance on why he felt justified in acting as he did in Dorking ..
... but Roger's world finally crumbles when - it starts to rain on his game
... and they all lived unhappily ever after
