Wrington Cricket Club 20/20 Cup Final v. Dyrham & Hinton   Wrington score 127 for 5, losing by just 40 runs

		Reproduced from the report in the October issue of the Village Journal "One of the highlights of the season was undoubtedly the 1st XI's appearance in the final of the Butcombe Brewery Knock-Out Cup, against Dyrham & Hinton 1st XI, played at Brislington. Our opponents set an extremely tough target, reaching 167 for 5 off their 20 overs, with Tim Ledbury turning in very respectable figures of 2 for 20. Wrington found it difficult to score quickly against tight bowling from D&H, and although Mike Clements (54) and Steve Bright (45) provided some acceleration in their stand of 63, Wrington fell 40 runs short as D&H secured the League and Cup double."
