Wrington WI's charity fund-raising event this year was in aid of the Wrington HelpLine, whose public-spirited volunteer drivers put so many miles into making sure patients and their visitors, who otherwise would be stranded at home, make the journey to surgery or hospital safely, comfortably, and on time.


The evening's success in raising over £400 would not have been possible without the efforts of those members who prepared the scrumptious - and generous - meal which started the evening off; or of the bar-staff keeping the 'wheels' oiled; the organiser and seller of raffle tickets; but most of all, the witty, knowledgeable, and tirelessly entertaining Toby Pinn from Clevedon Salerooms.
