The Great Wrington Eggathon involves couples throwing an egg back and forth to each other until it breaks - and whilst getting further and further apart. In some of the photos you can actually see |

The Eggathon was put on by supporters of Compassionate Friends, a national self-help group who give support to bereaved people. | |||||||
The successful organisation of the fete as a whole was down as usual to a dedicated 'behind-the-scenes' team of committee and helpers, amongst whom this year were Alison Clark and Andrew Whiting, Pauline Jefferies, Georgie Bigg, Wrington Vale Rotarians, David and Lee Thorneywork & son, Paul Benwell, Ian Stacey and his sound system, the Llewelyn-Evans family who kindly permitted the use of the paddock, Mike Bapty, and the team of doctors who provided medical cover. | |||||||
