The Chicago Rock Café in Yeovil was the unlikely venue for Wrington's Fiona Densham to launch her year of office as High Sheriff of Somerset, before invited guests who included a number of Somerset mayors, and Avon & Somerset's new Chief Constable. But, as she explained in her welcome, her parallel motive was to introduce the Crimebeat project she is backing. This is designed to encourage and financially support initiatives involving and originating from young people, to foster a spirit of community responsibility and involvement. |

another kind of involvement - in the music which is the more usual accompaniment to conversation (?) in the Chicago Rock Café, and when eventually the DJ's historical reach extended as far back as the 60s, this audience's involvement became total, lasting until the coaches arrived to return the Wrington area contingent at least, to the Memorial Hall car park. | ||||||||
