Wrington Web Archive Dedication of Royal British Legion Standard  Sunday, 4th September, 2005

This service was held in the presence of the High Sheriff of Somerset, Mrs Fiona Densham, and her husband, Mr Andrew Densham, CBE. The Last Post & Reveille was played by Richard Whiting. The event began with a march of colour bearers from other branches, Group and County, from the rec., through Broad Street to the church. The parade was accompanied by the Bridgwater Corps of Drums. After the church service, the colours marched back to the rec. with the salute taken at the junction of Church Walk with Silver Street, by the High Sheriff, and Ms Echo Irving, Vice-chair of Wrington Parish Council.                  Photos from video footage to be made into DVD
