After a well-received première on Tuesday, 22nd February, John Rata, a student from Churchill, presented his film, Wartime Wrington to a highly appreciative audience in the Scout hall attending the Saturday matinée. John was introduced by scouter Tony Harden.
Using mainly contemporary interviews with Wringtonians who'd lived in the village during the war, John also drew on a range of photographs and slides he'd been loaned.
