			Whilst a few brave souls determinedly ignored the rain, the vast majority of those attending the annual minibus fund-raising lunch were exceedingly glad to avail themselves of the shelter afforded by the barn at Glaisters ...
									... within which the gents poured ... ... and the ladies filled plates ...
				... Chairman Mike Hawkings gave thanks where it was due .... with a special mention and presentation to the committee's catering organiser of 29 years, Joyce Smith ...
		... who this year added to her duties that of picking out the first draw ticket ...
								... and, just for the record, the sun shone out of a largely cloudless sky from then on.
