Wrington Web Archive Hay barn fire Monday, 11th November, 2002

The sound of an explosion, the smell of burning, and the alarm of the fire-engine alerted the village to a serious fire at Cleeves hay barn, Cox's Green, at approx. 9.30pm on Monday, 11th November. It is understood a wagon as well the hay was lost. These photos kindly supplied by Tony Jefferies

The fire could be seen to be still burning fiercely on Tuesday morning.
