North Somerset Partnership is organising
a hustings event for the Avon and Somerset
Police and Crime Commissioner election.
The 'Question Time' style event will take place on Tuesday April 26 at the For All Healthy Living Centre on Lonsdale Avenue in Weston-super-Mare, starting at 7pm and ending at about 9pm.
All seven candidates standing for election will set out their plans for how they will meet the needs of communities in North Somerset before answering questions submitted in advance and on the night from the audience.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event and while there is no need to book to attend, it would be helpful for people to register for the event at <www.hustingsnorthsomerset.eventbrite.co.uk>.
Local people can submit questions in advance either as part of registering their attendance at the event (see above), by email to <northsomersetpartnership@gmail.com> or on the night. Questions in advance must be received by noon on Monday April 25.
The event will be chaired by Cara MacMahon, chief executive of Voluntary Action North Somerset (VANS) and member of the People and Communities Board.
The candidates standing for election are:

· Paul Crossley, Liberal Democrats
· Aaron Warren Foot, UK Independence Party (UKIP)
· Sue Mountstevens, Independent
· Kevin Stewart Phillips, Independent
· Mark Weston, The Conservative Party Candidate.
