25Oth ANNIVERSARY

“Rock of Ages” Service 2012

The “Rock of Ages” Service takes place in Burrington Combe
on the B3134 just off the A38 near Churchill,
directly opposite the cleft where the Revd. Augustus Toplady sheltered from a storm in 1762.

Postcode for sat nav users is BS40 7AT.
If this very wet weather continues, we will meet
in nearby Burrington Church – Post-Code BS40 7AD.

Our speaker for this great anniversary occasion will be Roger Medley,
Canon Missioner for the Diocese of Bath and Wells since 2003.

We will also be welcoming the Clevedon Citadel Salvation Army Band to lead the hymns,
and the soprano Zoë Maitland will sing two songs.

We hope many will join us for this Quarter-Millennium celebration
of Augustus Toplady’s much loved hymn.
