A regular feature of the annual programme are the footpath walks which ensure they are maintained to a minimal acceptable level. On Saturday, 17th November, an intrepid band of members and assorted husbands convened at 10.00 hrs at the top of Yeoman's Orchard for a briefing by the CO ....
Once it was clear no more could be expected, the party set off for the first checkpoint - the junction of Chapel Hill and Bullhouse Lane ....
... at which point the serious assault on the summit was launched ...
... culminating in a successful advance as far as the bar of The Plough .....
... at which point the party was formally stood down for refreshment, rest and recreation
