Wrington Women's Institute
Charity evening 2003
Bulldog

At first it looked like being a fairly normal evening of entertainment and a meal in the Memorial Hall.

Early arrivals picking a table where they could see what was going on on the stage,

a couple of chaps fiddling around with cables and microphone stands, with a desultory "One, two, one two" ....

.... but when they started playing - a Latin-American number, there was just a lead guitar and keyboard player - not the trio we'd been led to believe ....

.... until the door opened at the back ...
.... and as this apparition arrived on stage, there was a suspicion this might be one ex-headmaster, lightly disguised, which could only mean:

BULLDOG had begun ...
.... an evening of fun, frolics, and general fooling around ...

... not to mention giving two or nine members of their enthusiastic audience their chance to break into showbiz ...
.... from yellow polka-dot bikinis to washboard and tambourine ...
... from washboard and tambourine to .......

...
mindreading ??? ...

...
... and from watching ...                          ... to eating ...
... and just when we thought it was safe to go home ...
... it started all over again - but it meant a good sum had been raised for school playground equipment
