Re-planting of Millennium oak

The last attempt to plant an oak in the school field was frustrated
when the sapling appeared to have died.
On Thursday, 14th March, a second (and hopefully final/successful)
attempt was made.

The doughty digger this time round was Tony Jefferies. Pauline holds the tree in readiness
Once again, the process is observed by children from two classes, with a view to ....
... their joining in the careful consideration of the hole ..
... ascertaining the tree's perpendicularity ...
... calling a spade a spade ...
... and even taking turns to help fill it in ...
... a task undertaken with commendable enthusiasm considering the icy wind and driving rain ....
... which accompanied this episode of what seems to have turned into one of Wrington's longest-running sagas ..
... which must be how it feels to the members of the Committee, and the 3rd President to have been involved
