Open Day
Saturday, 10th February, 2007 |
The first visitors arrive at a little after 12 noon to see the results of the months of work which went into renovations and adding an upper floor above the school-room,
which itself was redecorated and fitted with very much improved lighting. Turning left into the corridor a second, disabled access loo was added. |
||||||||||||||||
A little further down the corridor, as a result of removing boarding at the window, there's a view restored which has been hidden for years.
The staircase leads to a large, airy and flexible room which has a second sitting area which can be closed off.
After the inspection of the improvements by a steady stream of visitors, the highlight of the Open Day was a short service conducted at 3pm by the Moderator of the South Western section of the URC, the Revd David Groesch- Miller.
