Introductory speech by the club President, Brian Patterson

Club Chairman, Roy Clements, describes the history of the building and introduces Lois Greaves, watched by Secretary Roger Smeed and committee member, Peter Endicott.

After congratulating the club on the new rink Lois Greaves, President of the Somerset Ladies' Bowling Association, inaugurated it by breaking the club's flag - which, though initially reluctant - succumbed to one, last tug !
