Broad Street Wrington Gardening Club

Current entry in the Village Journal

21st December - very close to Christmas but we hope you can come. Terry Merrett-Smith will be introducing us to 'December Delights'. If you remember his Irving Berlin evening last year, I don't need to say more. Extremely entertaining and along with mulled wine and mince pies........

18th January - 'Aldwick Court Vineyards' - Sandy Luck. This month our meeting will be held in the BOWLING CLUB clubhouse - see Journal entry below.

Visitors are very welcome to join us - £2 entry. If you have any queries re-garding the club or our change of venue, do please contact me. Our meetings begin at 7.30pm and are normally held in the Memorial Hall.

Unfortunately we have again been obliged to relinquish our regular Memorial Hall slot, this time for our JANUARY meeting. Fortunately, and with grate-ful thanks to them, the Bowling Club have offered us the use of their club-house. So for your diaries -

18th JANUARY '18 - we meet in the BOWLING CLUB CLUBHOUSE - times etc remain the same. It might be wise to bring a torch to ensure a safer walk from the car park.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience to our members ,but we had no alternative. I hope that I will not have to apologise to you again in the future.

'Christmas can be split into two kinds of people -
Those who look into the windows of houses of others
       And those who look out.'
Lemn Sissay

On a lighter note - Did you know? - Herod's first wife was called Doris.
