20th July - this month we will be
visiting the lovely ‘Yellow Book’ garden belonging to Jo Shepherd (thankyou Jo - a real treat for us) - Park Cottage, Wrington Hill. As parking is limited we will meet for car sharing/directions in the Memorial Hall car park, leaving at 6.30pm. Members have free entry to the garden. We welcome non-members but ask that you pay your individual entry charge.

Tea/cakes etc will be available - not included in entry fee.

17th August - ‘A Year in the Life of a Beekeeper’ - Belinda and Zdanek Kumpel - for August we will be back in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm - there may be local honey for sale.

Summer fruits - gooseberry pie,
  raspberry jam on buttermilk scones,
   freshly picked strawberries, still
    warm from the sun, blackcurrants,
     red currants, and new seasons
      honey all topped with golden,
       crusty, clotted cream. - wonderful
