... and now the pirates come back on the scene - steathily - with CAT LIKE TREAD ...

... so steathily, they're overheard by the cops ...
... and even the major-general admits to a somewhat disturbed night ...

... although he can't quite put his finger on the cause ...
... and all that worries his daughters is his being improperly dressed ...
... the pirates arrive to wreak their revenge ...

... one last appeal to Fred ..
... the cops arrive in the nick - of time - but there's a bit of a rough-house and they come off worse ...
... the pirates warn them not to pull the one about being orphans ...
... but the sarge in fact pulls the one about arresting them in the name of Queen Vic ..

... and that does it ...
... of course it does - we loyal Brits yield ...
... and there's something else you ought to know - they're toffs to a man ..
... well, ok, then. If you're peers, take your liberty ...
... and take my daughters too ..
... indeed, let's all take heart ...
... and our bows
... and let's hear it for the band ...
... and a final hail sends the audience home happy
