... a nervous William and Mary are left to find their own way in.
William uses the time until their hostess appears encouraging Mary out of her nervousness at the prospect of what the evening has in store...

... such as finding the sherry, which she hates, literally too much to stomach ...

and history inevitably repeats itself the next evening ...
... the problem then being the hideous cardigan which William loathes ...
... but when that's been stuffed away behind the table, Teresa can get down to taking off the sophisticated Fiona for whom she clearly has not much time ...
... Bob's problem the previous evening being to set about the strenuous process of uncorking a bottle, just as he realises he desperately needs the loo ...
... and Frank's old-world charm towards Mary is somewhat awkward since all William needs is directions to the little boys' room ...
