Broad Street Wrington ARCHIVE
Personal Quest - Peggy M. Bradbury
William Henry Woolf

My newfound cousin Josephine Smedley and I descend from the Woolf family [
see previous Personal Quest pages - Ed]. She told me about the website.

I was born 1922 in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. My father, Richard Ivor Woolf, and my mother, Amy Esther Jenkins, were both born in Abergavenny.

I married Roy Bradbury, who was born in Brownhills, Staffordshire in 1920. He was an RAF fighter pilot in WW II. I worked for the Admiralty when I was living in Stafford. I lived in Shrewsbury and Stafford until my marriage.

Thence to USA and been here from east coast to west coast and in the middle west. I Lived on Madison Avenue in NYC when it was safe to go to the band concerts in Central Park. I now live at the beach in Southern California. It's a good place to retire.

I've never been to Wrington but it looks the real English place I miss most, and I would love to see it. I love the All Saints' Church pages. I love the whole website.

The Woolfs lived there apparently in the earlier 1800s. This is all very exciting and I thank Josephine Smedley for her generous sharing of family news.
