| This year's Mothering Sunday service at 9.30am had three 'punctuation points'. The first, the cutting of a simnel cake baked byHelen and Emma Bos, Anna and Sammy Jenkins, Lana Pugh, and Ellie Thomas. The second was the hugging of the church on what was a beautifully sunny, if chilly, morning. The third was the distribution by children to their mothers - and some grannies too - of posies made, as always, by members of the Mothers' Union. |
