All Saints', Wrington
St George's Church Choir, Oshawa, Ontario
Tuesday, 7th August, 2007

The choir rehearsing during the afternoon. They have a link with Ann Ford of All Saints', whose cousin is a member of the choir.
Before Wrington they'd been singing in St George's Chapel, Windsor, and at the morning service at Salisbury Cathedral, where they were accorded a standing ovation. From Wrington they were moving on to Wells Cathedral, finally returning home two days later.

As well as entertaining a packed church with a delicious and varied menu of singing and instrumental playing, their visit raised £1,000 for Weston HospiceCare, one of whose trustees, Dr Ann Dent, also a Wrington resident, voiced the feelings of the audience, who were able to mix with members of the choir during an interval when drinks were served.

The choir's dramatic exit was against the background of a magnificent organ postlude.
