All Saints', Wrington
Music in the Garden
Page 2

Forsaking her role as accompanist of the Wrington Vale Choral Society, Hazel Lee- Wilson first played the oboe, with the Society's MD, Graham Davis at the keyboard, but then changed places, to accompany soprano, Rachel Parkes, and Rachel's
husband Richard, on trumpet.

The evening's programme of "music from the shows" was complemented by a reading from T.S. Eliot's original version of
Cats by Echo Irving.
Nicholas rounded off the evening with three familiar numbers of Flanders & Swan, thus sending everyone off in high good humour, and blessing the weather and the wild birds - if not the church bells - for providing so wonderful a backdrop for the event.
